After a 2-1/2 year suspension of in-person programs due to the COVID pandemic, Globalize DC is very pleased to introduce the 20 members of our third cohort of Japanese Plus students, who have been selected for our 2022-23 school year program. They will be known as our Tora class, because this group is getting their start in the Year of the Tiger (Tora in Japanese). These students, who have made a two-year commitment to Japanese Plus, represent seven (7) different DCPS and DC public charter high schools. We salute their bravery and enthusiasm as they begin their Japan journeys.
