Issues that I care about: Human rights violations and water pollution, such as trash negatively impacting animal habitats and the increase of plastic production. 

Interests/hobbies: I am a morning person who likes to stay at home. During my free time I watch anime and K-dramas, or I read webtoons and mangas. When I am feeling active, I like to run or learn K-pop dances. My favorite subjects are Math and Chemistry and I place a lot of importance on my academics. If I had the choice I would rather stay at home all day and read manhwas or watch anime. I like learning new languages and currently speak Spanish and French. I consider myself a minimalist and organized person. I would describe myself as an introvert, kind, reliable, analytical, ambitious, and down-to-earth. I am interested in computer science, Chemistry, Engineering, and law. 

Aspirations: Some of my academic ambitions are to further my mathematical knowledge and graduate high school with perfect grades. A personal long term ambition is to master the Japanese language and travel to Japan. 

Personal statement: The reason I joined Japanese Plus is mainly because of their culture and anime. Through my curiosity I learned more about the different culture practices and environment and became more immersed into their culture. Through this program I hope to be able to have enough confidence in my Japanese and in the future have Japanese friends.
