Aaron Weeks

School: McKinley Tech

Grade: 11

Zodiac Sign: Capricorn/Year of the Dog

Favorite Food: Chick-fil-a’s Spicy Deluxe Sandwich, with pepper jack cheese, and extra pickles. I could genuinely eat those for the rest of my life.

Issues I care deeply about: LGBTQ rights, Climate Change, and Civil Rights for African Americans.

Interests: I’m into multiple things, like skateboarding, creating music, playing electric guitar, doing jiujitsu, and playing games with my friends.

Aspirations: There’s a couple of things I can see myself striving for in the future. I would love to make a career out of music but that’s not always stable and really volatile, so I’d also like to study biology, and become a forensic scientist. Actions I’m making towards these things right now are taking multiple biotechnology and forensic science classes. I’m also making music of multiple genres almost every day. I’m usually experimenting with something music wise in my spare time.

What I want from the program: I want to learn Japanese, so I can immerse myself into the culture as best as possible. I’d also like to be in tune more so with other languages. Japanese is a really interesting language to me because it’s very difficult, but the culture that comes with the language is really robust, and something I strive to experience in life. I also feel like this program will allow me to branch out and create friendships with people who have similar interests as me.
