About me:
I’m a 15 year old female. I like drawing, writing fiction, listening to music, and reading. My talents include art, writing, swimming and acting. I want to pursue a career in forensic anthropology and to write fiction. What’s unique about me is that I have albinism.
Personal Statement:
I joined Japanese Plus because I’m interested in Japanese culture, its folklore and mythology, art and would like to travel abroad there soon. I’m enjoying the program so far. I really like how we learn about culture and the language, instead of just language. It’s also really well organized and very focused on getting some good opportunities for scholarships and other programs that are outside the program. For example, we got to make Onigiri with the YFU organization. We also got to meet exchange students from Shikoku University, who introduced us to more of the Japanese culture (dances, tea, games, etc.). There was also the nengajo contest, the essay contest for a paid trip to Japan (I was too young to apply), and many festivals and celebrations that our program got to visit. I’ve made soon good friends and connections through the program.
