Activities:

I’m interested in various activities like reading, soccer, and other sports, and I also like to play both video games and board games. Another thing I like doing is eating different types of food from different cultures since I like to be open-minded.

Why I joined this program:

I wanted to join this job to be able to explore the Japanese history that exists in our city, and to be able to eventually connect it back to both historic and modern Japanese culture to understand the progression from historic moments like World War II to now. Another reason I joined this program was to learn about Japanese cuisine since I’ve been very intrigued by their traditional dishes ever since I was little. A third reason would be that I want to properly appreciate the people in my life that come from an Asian background.
